Site description

Choctaw Generating LLLP’s Red Hills Operation is located in Choctaw, MS, just north of the Tombigbee National Forest. Plant Red Hills began operations in 2001 with their singular coal-fired unit with a generating capacity of 514 MW. Red Hills also operates an active, onsite Ash Management Unit that spans 90 acres in total. Choctaw Generating LLLP plans to close down or retire the coal-fired unit.
