Site description

Wisconsin Energy’s Presque Isle Power Plant was a coal-fired power plant that had been online since 1974. The plant was located near Lake Superior in Marquette, Michigan. The plant used to have five units with a total capacity of 450-MW. The power plant was retired in March 2019. Ash Landfill No.3 near the plant is regulated under the CCR rule.
