Freeport Department of Utilities’ Lon D Wright Power Plant is located in Dodge County Nebraska just north of the Platte River. Plant Wright began operations in 1958, now operating three coal-fired units producing a combined 130 MW. Plant Wright’s CCR Monofill is regulated under the CCR rule.
