Site description

Portland General Electric Company’s Boardman Power Plant is located in Morrow County, OR along the banks of the Columbia River. Plant Boardman is a single unit, coal-fired power plant, capable of producing 642 MW. Plant Boardman is scheduled to retire its coal-fired unit in 2020 and is currently looking into renewable energy as a replacement. Plant Boardman operates a Landfill that is regulated under the CCR-rule. You can find the industry-reported data here.
