Dolet Hills Power Station has 43 groundwater monitoring wells, 16 of which have been polluted above federal advisory levels based on samples collected between June 24, 2010 and May 05, 2016. Groundwater at this site contains unsafe levels of nickel, arsenic, cobalt, selenium and lead.

Site description

Cleco Corporation's Dolet Hills Power Station is located near Mansfield, Louisiana. Dolet is a 721 MW facility. The power plant has several waste disposal areas, including bottom ash ponds, surge and auxiliary surge ponds, a metal cleaning waste pond, a plant discharge collection pond, a lignite runoff pond, and a fly ash and scrubber sludge landfill.
